Anyone know of any super great deals out there this weekend?

New to both skating and wanting to try goalie at some point. I found a decent deal on some leg pads, blocker, and glove, and I also got a pair of goalie skates. Now i need helmet, chest, pants. Anyone know of any good deals on used equipment? I've been keeping an eye on ebay and sideline swap daily, I do not live anywhere near a play it again sports. Or possible any new equipment deals that might be coming up for Memorial Day? I've already spent a small fortune on my player gear so I'd like to keep my remaining goalie gear within reason lol

I made the trip into Columbus Ohio this weekend, I’d like to go check out some used gear. What play it again sports location in town would be best for hockey gear? I’m considering picking up some goalie gear also even though I’m a huge noob.

While i'm still learning to skate I am piecing together my first set of hockey gear. I've got everything now except shoulder pads. I'm 6'2" with broad shoulders, any suggestions on which to consider? Most of my gear is the basic Bauer X line, i've looked at those pads and will probably go with them (primarily due to affordability) but if anyone has any other suggestions that would provide me some better protection for around the same cost that'd be cool. I'd like to keep it less than $125 but would go up to $150. I'm guessing i'd need an XL. At 49 y.o. and not a great skater i'd like all the protection I can get, I dont want to end up in the hospital ha
