I grew up with ariana since 2015 when I was first introduced to her music through one last time at 11 years and because I was too young to have the internet and social media access at the time, I wasn't much aware of the early public discourse about her body , which has been going on for years but until her 2023 TikTok video where she addressed concerns about her appearance she was getting at that time, and the wicked press tour, and visible patterns of body checking since late 2021 to now ( I started following ariana in instagram since 2021 btw), I began to recognize a lot of cycles and patterns of her ED. Also deep-diving and going down the edtumblr rabbit hole from certain subreddits was a major awakening for me. My concerns have only intensified during her tour this year. Despite what seems like clear evidence to many of us, it remains incredibly frustrating that a portion of her fans still deny this.
