Anaheim. How to avoid watching the other bands?

Are Wolf+Bear & Novelists going on first? Was anyone at the Anaheim show last night that can give an approximate set time for Htb? I really don't want to have to sit through all this sing-song-core crooning.

Recreated hype stickers

The Hot Topic hype Stickers for the vinyl releases for Deftones from the early 2010’s is complete.

Recreated in Photoshop, printed, laminated, and cut in house. I had a few buddies that were missing some of their hype stickers so I took it upon myself to make some for them. They had thrown theirs out by accident or they got damaged trying to removed to be placed on clear outer sleeves.

The laminate is scratch resistant so the print stays intact when you are sliding your records off the shelf.

Use your turntable's pitch adjuster.

Look this might be obvious to some folks but don't play your vinyl discs at exactly 33 or exactly 45 rpm. Half the fun of vinyl is having the PHYSICAL WAVE FORM in your own hands.

Blood in the labyrinth at 33rpm-20% is fire. But play around! Any 45rpm play at 33. Any 33 play at 33rpm-20% if your turntable allows it!

"Tape 05" on vinyl has so much more detail when you play slower.....

The 'Continuous Mix' is the same

Someone mentioned to me that this had already been done, but this sub is moving fast right now and I haven't seen it anywhere, so here is my independent verification. The continuous mix does not differ from the standard release.

All files in this analysis were downloaded directly from Bleep.

Track 1 is the standard 18-file tracked FLAC release . Track 2 is the singular-file "Continuous" FLAC release, and Track 3 is the "Continuous" 24bit WAV release, just for good measure. For Track 1, I simply added every individual track in sequence, then selected "Join Clips." This does not trim anything from the files/recordings, it merely combines multiple contiguous files into a single continuous file. All of the dead air is left as is.

The first few pics are a standard waveform representation of the 3 versions of the record and immediately it is apparent that they are all the same length with the same peaks and valleys. I could have stopped here but the files were already loaded so I continued to zoom in on a few sections and then switch over to a spectrogram representation.

Long story short, they are the exact same recording. Same length, transitions, amplitude, frequencies, whatever else you want to analyze. I have no idea what Warp, BoC or whoever was going for here, but there is no difference other than it being 18 separate tracks vs one large track. I'm a little let down given I ordered direct from Bleep specifically for this mix, but this isn't a 'grab your pitchforks' moment. I really just wanted to satisfy my own curiosity then decided maybe I should share for others, so there it is.
