My 8 month old golden doodle has a non contagious autoimmune disease that she is on meds for that makes her immunosuppressed. Are there any alternative options for grooming? Like at home groomers? Or is it safe to take her to the groomer near our house? We want her to be comfortable for summer!
My mini goldendoodle is 8 months old and she developed a rare disease called IMHA. Her symptoms started manifesting about seven days after her surgery. Took her to the same vet that did her surgery and they performed a blood test and said she had a low red blood cell count and a high white blood cell count. They sent her home with antibiotics and a regenerative anemia diagnosis. Took her to the ER the next day and she was hospitalized for three days after they diagnosed her with IMHA.
I am very skeptical about her surgery and not a big believer in coincidences. I don’t know if that was the trigger but what does everyone think? Should I switch my primary vet?
