Time for flying after cataract surgery

My wife (71) is about to have cataract surgery, I gather that these days one can fly after only a couple of days. I (77) had cataract surgery in 1993 due to an old (1980s) trauma injury and I remember that I was not allowed to fly several months.

My late reading of Sir Terry's books has been a salvation at a time of high stress in our current world. Hopefully when things get better I will be able to look back and remember how TP's humour helped me survive mentally.
