Dog is in ER overnight

My dog Thor is currently hospitalized after suddenly becoming sick earlier this week.

Thor is a 12.5 year old Chihuahua mix who has diabetes for the past 4 years. He developed vomiting, bloody diarrhea, loss of appetite, and lethargy, and needed emergency hospitalization, IV fluids, medications, ultrasound testing, bloodwork, and ongoing monitoring.

Right now the doctors figured out he is dealing with gastroenteritis along with a UTI, and they are continuing treatment and supportive care while monitoring him. He hasn’t started eating yet and he has been in the hospital overnight for 2 days now.

Thor means everything to me and my family, and we are doing everything we can to help him recover comfortably and safely. Any kind thoughts truly means so much to me during this stressful time.

Thank you 💕

Monday 5/18
