Hello! I recently read a few monster romances that range in “grey-scale” from ‘fluffy’ to ‘what the eff’ and I immensely enjoyed them all:

I’m now searching for a well written monster romance that has a nice blend of grey/dark grey with some kink representation…my ideal wish list includes a tall, competent FMC who is a bit meek but not a total dud, and a MMC who is a big ole possessive horny bastard who will also provide delightful aftercare. Throw in a MMC who is a proper dom? Perhaps a Daddy and/or pet kink? Somnophilia?? Would that combo exist? If so, SOLD.

MF, MFM, and MMF recs are welcome. I’d also greatly prefer if FMC is older than 21, so no high school setting, please. Bonus points if FMC is late 20’s/30’s.

Hello! I just finished Edge of Steel by Elizabeth Dear (so dang good - I love Wyatt and Elijah so much) and something about the setting called to me louder than a fog horn: Avery was the only female at a male-only training camp.

My reason for liking this setup is two fold:

- FMC is able to hold her own and show her worth without being annoying

- It makes her guys SUPER protective/possessive over her

So, do you guys have any recs where the FMC is the only/one of the only females in a male only/predominately male setting?? Doesn’t necessarily have to be the whole point of the book, but if there’s a good chuck of it where this applies, my need would be happily sated.

I’d REALLY love if the FMC was a bit more meek (but still has her wits about her) and happily dependent upon her guys in said setting, but that may be asking for a needle in a haystack?

Any genre/location is welcome except for high school 😊 No triggers to note. I’m good with MM and welcome MFM/MMF recs as well!
