IBKR just rolled out a unified prediction markets screen — Kalshi + CME + ForecastEx in one window. Anyone using it yet?
Logged into TWS this week and noticed IBKR quietly launched a unified prediction markets interface on May 14. You can trade Kalshi, CME Group event contracts, and ForecastEx from one screen with automatic best-price routing — no separate account at each venue.
Found a writeup that breaks down what's actually live, the routing logic, and what's still missing (Polymarket isn't on it, obviously, since they're not US-regulated): https://predictionmarkets.us/articles/interactive-brokers-unified-prediction-markets-2026
A few things I'm trying to figure out:
• Does the best-price router actually pick the better side, or does it default to whichever venue has the contract listed first? Anyone backtested?
• Fees — is IBKR layering a markup on top of Kalshi's exchange fee, or are they passing through?
• ForecastEx volume is thin. Curious if the unified screen is going to drive any liquidity there or if it'll just be a Kalshi pipe with extra steps.
Feels like a bigger deal than IBKR is making it sound. First real "Bloomberg terminal for prediction markets" moment imo.
