Hey everyone I hate to do this but ive tried everything and exhausted every option so I need help im trying to run carnivores ice age on one of my older laptops and every time I open it I get a heap error ive messed around with some things only thing that got rid of the heap error was going into lutris config and adding a dsound key and setting it to d but that results in a A_SOFT.DLL failed to load error and im not even sure thats resolving the heap error im on linux mint and im using a 32bit os and trying to run it through wine and lutris i got the game file from moddb and im not sure where to go from here I followed a bunch of guides I messed with a ton of files deleted and reinstalled multiple times messed around in the terminal and lutris with changing pretty much every setting and even tried downloading patches with my only success being going from heap error to the A_SOFT.DLL error any idea thanks in advance

Hello everyone I am a fairly new player of the carnivores series of games. I tend to play a lot of older games but just recently stumbled upon carnivores, however I have also just recently discovered the poacher cut enemy and ive done some digging on it which has made me curious has anyone made a mod or something to put it back in the game? If so then where can I find such a mod? if not however I am fairly skilled at coding and would like to take a Crack at not just adding it back into the game but building it a completely new ai that mimics what it was originally meant to be, however in order to do this id like to know more information about it than just what I can find on the surface of the internet such as what its behavior patterns where meant to be what its triggers were meant to be what special features and or abilities was it meant to have if any stuff like that if any of you Veteran fans could please tell me more about it that would be greatly appreciated
