Just bought a Bianca v3 and Eureka Libra,

New to espresso and jumped fully in. Bought a Lelit Bianca v3 and a Eureka Mignon Libra. Was going to get the Baratza Sette 270Wi but thought the Libra might be better. Any set up things I should be aware of? I’m in California, any water suggestion? Maybe Crystal Geyser or Arrowhead? Also got the Libra 22mm dosing funnel for the Lelit, a milk frothing jug, and a knock box. What else should I have? 100% internet taught, so I basically know next to nothing.

Gig Home Assistant job, São Paulo- São Sebastião

I asked the mods if this was ok, received no reply.

I’m looking for someone in the area of São Paulo to Sao Sebastião, Brazil to give me a hand with setup and integrations in a new home as well as setup/design of dashboards. I want hands on physical support so a fully remote setup will not work. Dashboard design and other work can be remote. I will work with you and am learning HA, end of project hands over back to me. Estimated gig 3-6 months with different amounts of time each week as the project progresses. Bonus if you can help with setup of Ubiquiti networking equipment. Coding tools are OK to use, but you should be able to optimize and understand the .yml.

DM me for more details or post questions here.

Advice for in-wall + in-ceiling 7.2.4 setups: B&W vs. KEF vs. Focal

Similar to my other post but a different room. About a 15' x 15' home theater with a 138" screen and projector. Two sets of seating (couches). I have three setups I need to compare: B&W vs. KEF vs. Focal. Everything is in-wall or in-celing. Pricing differences don't matter.

Bowers and Wilkins:

CCM7.2 S2 x3 for LCR

CCM7.5 S2 x 4 for sides/rears

CCM682 x4 for Atmos

SVS 3000x2 for inwall sub

Focal:

300 IW6 LCR x3 for LCR

300 IW6 x 4 for sides/rears

300 ICW8 x4 for Atmos

SVS 3000x2 for inwall sub

KEF:

Ci5120QLM-THX x3 for LCR

Ci4100QL-THX x 4 for sides/rears

CI200QR x4 for Atmos

SVS 3000x2 for inwall sub

Advice for fully in-ceiling 5.1 setup: Focal vs. B&W

I have a bedroom HT setup I need a hand with. All speakers need to be ceiling mounted. Screen will be a 100", retractable from ceiling with projector, screen will be acoustically transparent BECAUSE the LCRs will be located behind the screen. Screen is literally hanging in the middle of the room, retractable. Room is fully light controlled. I will pick one of these two setups. No concern over price difference. Advice between these three speaker setups? I really don't need advice on the speaker placement or screen setup. These are very specific to the room: Screen Innovations ZeroG screen, retractible into the ceiling (10.5' high) when not in use. The LCRs, which have 30 degree downward angles, will be placed behind the screen on the ceiling to produce the correct imaging. Floor speakers are a no. There are no available walls (glass, etc.). There is no location for a TV in this room that is not 45 degrees off from viewing position and the aesthetics are not desireable. Peace bro.

Bowers and Wilkins setup

CCM7.3 S2 x3 for LCR

CCM682 x2 for rears

SVS 3000 in wall sub

vs

Focal setup

300 ICLCR x3 for LCR

300 ICW8 for rears

SVS 3000 in wall sub
