Finished the entire Anima Event - Fun but tedious

As a pretext, I do work a demanding job but I work from home. So I was able to squeeze in quick plays during coffee breaks and lunch breaks, before work, and after work. I even went on a road trip with my GF. I had to use NVIDIA cloud to play quickplay games in the early AM for week 2 XD. I'm not really sure how anyone with any sort of a life was able to finish this on time and complete everything.

I really like Shion's gameplay kit and her character as a whole, so I REALLY wanted the Tokyo Tiger title. I already have the anniversary double table flips but I guess I'm retiring that. It WAS fun discovering the story plot points, the voice clips, and picking the path. But the path did seem irrelevant since I was aiming for a 100% completion for this event.

Some feedback/improvements on the event and events in the future:

  1. There really needs to be a banking system so you can overplay one day to use on another day. What if people can't play on more than 2-3 days of the week?
  2. The 12 games required on the 4th daily is brutal. That's about 6 games assuming you win ALL which is unlikely
  3. I wouldn't say make the prestige 100% completion titles easier to get per-se, but the event as a whole is unforgiving. I think it needs some slack here as respect to the consumer's time and sanity. Some people missed out just on a weekly reward etc due to how unforgiving this event is.

Anyways, good luck grinding out the rest of the event if you haven't done so my fellow hashimoto goons.

I hope she gets nerfed so I can play her

I have a higher than average WR with her over 50 games now in ranked in plat. Nothing special but I think I'm doing decent and can climb back to diamond after quitting in 2019.

But now I can't play her. Every kid just auto lock races her and doesn't even let me play her if they're shitting the bed. Shes already sort of broken IMO so she needs a nerf so her global average WR is 49%.

They need to raise the skill cap on her somehow. I don't really want the Sierra user crowd playing Shion.

I think they need to nerf her M2, reduce the damage somehow but reward players that can position and aim. Guess that means nerfing the range and damage. Or front load some of her damage into her pistols. The bike cool down is already disgustingly long honestly, so there's no point in nerfing it.

Delayed Team Wipe with Bike-Heal

Ranked gold 4 game.

I was racing back to the point and then the Ram ulted. So I aborted and biked it into the back line, got the Moira.

The Ram was on me at that point so I decided to ult the back line, snagged 3.

There was ram and a junk left, it was just me and the tank I believe left versus the Ram and Junk. I was able to dash 1-2 times and bike back on with bike-heal, did a donut and cool downs were back. Tank died. But then I killed the junk fast and then executed the rammatra.

It's crazy how fun her kit is and how much outplay she has. It makes me kinda sad though, I think some of the original cast DPS heroes are simply out classed now like reaper/cass. I still play Cass but I am not getting this sort of movement and kill potential.

Anniversary Title Achievement Decreased to 38 achievements

So now you can get your "(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻" and not complain about doing repeating achievements.

But guess what, there's a special "┻━┻︵ \(°□°)/︵ ┻━┻" emoji for people who originally grinded the 48 achievements.

I guess people will now complain about now getting the double-table achievement.

Such is life?
