Has anyone visited Book Fair? How are the books and prices?

Hey everyone, thinking of checking out the book fair for the first time, has anyone been there recently? Wanted to know how it actually is.

A few things I wanted to know about:

  • What's the range like? Is it mostly novels/self-help, or does it have variety
  • Are prices actually lower, or just a slight discount compared to online
  • How's the crowd? Is weekday better, or is weekend fine too

Specifically looking for 1984, Man's Search for Meaning, Ikigai, and The Alchemist. If anyone's spotted these there, lmk if they're usually available so I'm not wasting time searching around.

My Experience with Gaming

Completed a pretty long list of games over the last two years. I don't regret any of them. They were genuinely amazing experiences, and some gave me memories I'll never forget.

What I do regret is using gaming to avoid studying and working on myself.

Slowly, it stopped being something I did for fun and became something I did to avoid thinking. Stressed? start a game. Didn't want to face something? start a game. It was always the easy path.

The problem was never the games. It was me using them to feel like I'd accomplished something without actually doing anything. Completing quests felt like progress, while my actual goals were just sitting there.

I still love gaming But looking back, I realize I spent so much time completing quests while ignoring the goals I had in my own life 🥀

Games I've Completed So Far And...

Completed all these games in last 2 years, I don't regret playing these games because they're genuinely amazing games. Some of them gave me memories that I'll probably never forget.

What I do regret is how I used gaming to avoid studying and working on myself.

Somewhere along the way, gaming stopped being just a hobby and became an escape from reality. Whenever I felt stressed, overwhelmed, or didn't want to deal with my responsibilities, I would just start gaming.

I still love games but Looking at this list made me realize that I spent so much time completing quests while ignoring the goals I had in my own life. 🥀
