[MOD] Custom Basic Temple Units

Heey gang,

after several posts with comparisons and exchanging opinions I decided to release first version of the mod-packs.

[MOD] Camera Rotation Unlock - 90° isometric map rotation

Hey gang,
many of you were unsure about my last post, so here's a little presentation.

It is not a free camera mod. The camera rotates in fixed 90-degree steps, so the game keeps its original isometric look and feel while giving you more useful viewing angles on the adventure map (i.e. when you want to be sure if a tree doesn't hide treasure chest 😛)

Features:

  • Original camera movement stays intact
  • Default rotation: Ctrl + mouse wheel
  • Optional keyboard rotation with , and .

Weekend is coming and maybe I'll sit down with a full model, but I checked out the diffused texture...
It'll take some time to find a proper way to do it

[WIP] I heard your voice - Alternative Lightweaver v2

Now I’m sticking to just two versions, both are clothed, with one being a bit more revealing.

I also tested a version with the extension of old bluish fabric from previous build, but to me it doesn’t stand out as much as a Lightweaver character/unit compared to the other two.

I have several versions of Lightweaver and I'm not sure which direction is the best to be honest :D
So let's hear the community!

  1. Original from the game

  2. Original with subtle tweaks

  3. Less golden elements (she's a basic unit after all)

  4. And now... skin inspired by Radiant Glory from H6

I also add the last two on the battlefield.

This is an early alpha version of her model, I'll probably change her skin a little bit a think about color palette, but that's a story for another time :D

[WIP] It's easier than I thought - Alternative Griffin texture

Apparently, the texture editing process is really similar to the one in HoMM V, and I have some experience in modding textures there :D

The first screenshot shows the original texture, and the second one is a quick test.

Hey gang!

After a brief presentation two days ago, I made an update to my audio mod that brings back classic music from HoMM II-V.

Super configurable - pick what you want, keep original soundtrack or not.

That's right - this version doesn't remove anything and you can still enjoy the original audio.

What's currently included:

  • HoMM II/III/IV/V: menu themes, towns themes, battles themes, jingles, ambient themes, victory/lose themes etc. played at random!
  • Optional grass theme randomizer (II-V mixed in) - I kept it :P

Hi guys!

So after a few requests I created a side mod for my main Custom Audio Mod

What it does

  • Adds grasslands tracks from HoMM II, III, IV and V.
  • Keeps the original grassland track in the mix, doesn’t replace it.
  • Every time the grass theme would play, it just rolls a random one from the pool.
  • Only touches grassland themes – towns, battles etc. stay vanilla.

If you try it, let me know if anything bugs out or if you’d like another variants (i.e. dungeons, towns etc.)

You asked about it, so I took a look and replacing the portraits is surprisingly easy, though it'll take some time to prep the mod properly.

In the meantime, here's the aesthetic I'm aiming for: a bit more realistic and toned down. What do you think? Any examples of portraits you would like to see?

  • Main Menu Theme
  • Town Themes (Schism uses Fortress Theme)
  • New Day and New Week jingles
