In-Person Proctor for Interviews.
I’m thinking about creating a website where companies can book in-person proctors for online interviews, either at a candidate’s home or in a public place, to prevent cheating.
In IT, cheating in online interviews has become rampant. Because of that, many companies are moving back to on-site interviews, which is inconvenient for both candidates and employers.
My idea is to create something like a trusted proctoring network for remote interviews. A verified proctor would meet the candidate in person, confirm their identity, check the interview environment, and make sure they are not using hidden devices, AI tools, or outside help.
I work in IT, so I have seen how unfair online interview cheating can be for honest candidates. I want to help fix this problem.
