Here's to the ex who said I had zero femininity in me and vanished after day one of HRT. I've never been happier in my whole life.

One of the only blessings of going through male puberty was getting these dream legs and being 5'10... 🥵

From here to there. Believe in your dreams (18 months HRT, 33 y.o.).

November 2024 vs today (July 2026)

I still cannot believe it, but I'm here shining and loving myself at last.

My solstice tattoos: Capturing my journey of self-discovery

I am a living paradox. I chose to engrave this truth on my skin to never forget the path I’ve traveled.

I was born on December 20th, at the gates of the winter solstice. This date is not just an origin; it is my essence. It is the moment when the night is longest, yet the light begins its reclamation. This cycle is what I chose as my credo and my signature.

For 32 years, I lived as a soul frozen in ice, wearing a winter coat that never belonged to me. But my transition was my own solstice. It broke the ice and freed what was burning in silence: a solar, warm, incandescent woman.

These two tattoos are the cartography of this epiphany:

Frostfire Shot (left arm): The engine of my action and a direct reminder of my sign. The bow ready to launch its inner flare to make me feel fully alive. It is my drive, this perpetual movement toward self-affirmation.

Midwinter Sun (right arm): My regained balance. Living proof that no matter the length of the winter, the fire that burns within me is infinitely more powerful than the frost that once held me captive.

I am a librarian by day, a social butterfly by night, and always, resolutely, this flame that will never ask for permission to shine again. Radiantly free, finally myself.

Celebrating 1 year and a half on HRT today (started on 20th December 2024, my date of birth btw) 🎈🎂💊

Never been so confident in my life, at 33. Transitioning makes trans people happier, that's it.
