This is my first time owning quail. They are moulting, but today when I wanted to clean out their cage I saw 3 out of 4 of them have their backs all bald?!?
Is this a case of severe moulting or should I be worried about something else?
Our 5 week old chicken nuggets moved out of the house to their outside home today!
After the initial shock of their new environment, they settled in very comfy!
One of them has started crowing a few days ago, so definately one roo. Can't wait to find out what the others are when they are old enough to vent sex.
My almost 2,5 week old chicks, spending a day outside.
Their enclosure was broken on delivery so they have to make do with whatever we have on hands until a new one arrives. They don't seem to mind though. Can't! Wait to have them outside permanently!
Meet Bobbi! A week and a half ago found this tiny egg with bits of what i assume used to be it's parents. Now the little orphan egg hatched! I'm so glad I didn't leave it ❤️
I have this little orphan pidgeon egg in my incubator. Though i'm not really sure how old this egg is. The first picture is today, the other is 7 days ago (also the day we started incubating)
My guess is around day 12-13, what would your estimate be? Trying to figure out the right time to remove the automated turning system.
So it's almost been a week since we found this egg while walking my dogs at a unusual place.
I do not have a single clue how far along this egg is supposed to be, but while still trying to figure out if this egg even is viable it moved?
