Have "Christian" influencers like Lysa TerKeurst, Leslie Vernick, and Henry Cloud contributed to marriages falling apart?

To be clear, there is a place for boundaries and protecting oneself from genuinely harmful situations. However, it seems that these speakers/influencers have contributed to blurring the lines between truly harmful marriage issues and common marital conflict that may be difficult to work through but doesn't require ending the marriage. They have largely just joined the pop psychology bandwagon.

Terms like
"boundaries,"
"toxic"
"unsafe"
"narcissist"
"protecting my peace"
become cover for avoidance, refusal to work through conflict, and lack of accountability.

I’m pretty sure I’m heading toward divorce. My wife went to stay at her parents’ house and hasn’t talked to me in months. In almost 30 years of marriage, I’ve failed to maintain any meaningful friendships/relationships outside of our family (primarily HER family) and work. I put everything into my marriage and kids for years.

While she has been gone, I have already been feeling a deep sense of loneliness. We had low moments, but we still talked daily. At nearly 50 years of age, I’m not sure how to build a support system or meet people. I kind of have a fear of being alone and lonely from now on.

I tried going to a gym, but it’s big and it just doesn’t seem like I’m likely to meet people, unless I’m doing something wrong. I’m open to suggestions.
