Which configuration would be best? (yes I have access to a welder and my welds are proficient).
Also there is a center hole in the concrete blocks and the steel rod will go into it with some rebar welded onto the end to go deeper into the ground. Also if anyone has any ideas to get this thing to working height please free to tell me.
I'm looking to buy a Tig welder (first tig welder, not my first welder) and have come to a crossroads. I'm deciding between pretty much three different companies right now (on amazon). Primeweld, Everlast, and AHP. The welder I am interested in from AHP is the New 2026 AHP ALPHATIG 225XI. The welder from Everlast is the 2021 Everlast PowerTIG 185DV AC/DC TIG Stick Welder. From Primeweld they are out of stock at the moment. I have considered buying a cheap chinese one but Id need some proper swaying to consider it. My budget is 830 dollars. Also What does the screen on the ahp and everlastdo if its all analog?
Edit: I looked at the screens functionality and it's just an amp meter, So that begs the question of should I downgrade to the alpha tig 203xi for the digital capability? Ive only ever used analog and am wondering how much better digital is.
Took a chunk out the lamination but the leds underneath are unharmed
idek if the cores are broken, But if they are could I recast them and demagnetize them? If I need power/ amperage I have a 220v 50 amp outlet or a stick welder for an electromagnetic power supply.
