Someone decided to pull out infront of me and made me flip my car

I just got this guitar today but I’m having some trouble with the tone knob I noticed it was loose so I tightened back up but the I noticed that it didn’t do anything so I took the back off of it and saw that a green wire was disconnected is there anyway to fix this at home? How was it suppose to connect?
