Reset/Adjust Ultegra DI2 Derailleur

Background - DI2 ultegra derailleur, when I first got the bike I tried changing some settings in the tube app. and initially didn't take (I didn't understand the connection step properly and putting it into maintenance mode). I forgot about that and a month or so later I was setting out for a long charity ride (2 day). The night before, I learned how to connect the app and the settings I had previously selected it go updated. and must have reset the indexing settings.

Next day on the ride I noticed some rubbing in a few gears. fortunately there were repair stations and techs... I told them the issue and they manually adjusted the derailleur to address the rubbing and it rode better (not perfect).

That evening I went ahead and red the manual and learned how to set the indexing properly, went through the steps and fixed it. works great.

Question is... was anything changed with physically adjusting the B screw that needs to be set back?

At daycare he’s fine;e. Uses the toilet washes his hands. All good. At home he refuses to he knows he needs to, knows hes supposed to. Knows how. But will refuse. We ask him if he needs to go, he says “not yet” we ask “what do you do when you need to potty” he says “stop playing and goto the toilet”.

Yesterday he even announced “I need to potty” asked me to help him, walked to the bathroom, then announced “not yet” then walked back to living room and promptly peed on the floor.

When we ask “why didn’t you use the potty” he just says “I peed on the floor” or “I didn’t use the potty”

Any ideas?

Started Zep in November. Down from 247lbs to 187lbs. Unsure how much is a benefit of the drug and how much is just having 25% less me I’m carrying around, but what a miraculous change.

I basically went from couch to a 165 mile ride last weekend with barely 8 weeks of preparation. I’ve always cycled. Mostly for fun and a bit of fitness. But I joined a work team for the BikeMS charity ride this past weekend. Talked into signing up just 3 months ago. Wife let me invest in a new road bike and for the last 8 weeks I’ve done a weekly 20-30 mile ride. And occasionally a second ride that same week. Early on it was tough. But a bike computer app that showed my power and cadence… pushing myself to up those both every week. I went from around 80 watts and 65 rpms to maintaining 150 watts (or more) and 80 rpms consistently.

This last weekend was the big ride. 165 miles in two days. I expected to get gassed and need to SAG or leap ahead or at the least be one of the last finishers. But was determined to do it anyway.

Both days I kept up and finished with veteran riders. Everyone comments how far I’ve come with little time to train.

As I said some of this is just carting a lot less tonnage. But the drug also helps so much.

  1. Because it’s metabolizing fat to sugar along the way, I seemed to have unlimited energy and was able to skip more than half of the rest and fueling stops.

Next year I want a “Powered by Zep” patch in my jersey. It’s really amazing.
