Only joking! But really, does Andrew Marshall have any rights to future Red Dwarf stories now he wouldn't be working with Rob Grant, or would he rely on the Naylor's licencing him to use GNP IP?
edit#1 I should probably have included the evidence to demonstrate that what I was saying about the Naylor's now total ownership of GNP is true! > Grant Naylor Productions publicly filed that Rob Grant's position as a director was terminated on the 25th February, and appointed Linda Naylor (Doug's wife) and Richard Naylor (Doug's son) as directors on the 22nd April.
edit#2 TIL IP rights are a completely separate thing to company directorship, and just because the GNP directors are now all Naylors', Rob's IP still likely passed onto his own family along with his shares, so the Grants' would now be able to approve Andrew Marshall creating more Red Dwarf content within the remit of the original Rob-Doug March2023 IP agreement.
Alright smeg'eads?
To celebrate the fantastic Red Dwarf community, r/RedDwarf is expanding the Community Links section of the sidebar to include fan run websites!
PLEASE NOTE due to a bug that has existed for at least six years now, the Community Links section is only visible on the desktop site, not in the app.
If you have a favourite fan site (or twelve)... your go to websites for Red Dwarf info, photos, chat etc... please share them below! Whether they are regularly updated, or have been deader then corduroy since 1988, we want to see them!!
Once thing's get going we'll update the community list! And if we get loads of recommendations we might have to do a pinned Fan Site of the Month post or something I don't know 😅
Boys from the Dwarf!
