One of my feline roommates has an ulcerated tumor on his throat courtesy of advanced squamous cell carcinoma. He is nearly 16 years old. He goes to an excellent vet in whom I have total confidence and also I know not everyone has time to keep up with every single advancement in medicine. So just a shot in the dark here in case there are newer treatments any vets have heard about. It's unlikely I would be able to afford those treatments if they exist but doesn't hurt to find out. As it is we have begun palliative care. Thanks in advance!
