In case anyone was wondering, Glassjaw’s set at Warped Tour today will be live-streamed on Amazon Prime at 4:20 on Warped’s channel 2 livestream. I’m generally wondering if Warped tour gave them that slot or Daryl asked for it, if you know you know. Also I’m bummed they only get 30 minutes at most.

This is over a week late but I always tell you all about my Glassjaw and Head Automatica concert experiences so I’m going to do that now. Last Saturday (June 6th) I saw Head Automatica in Los Angeles. I love these boys so much that I bought VIP with the meet and greet. First of all I want to apologize to everyone else who had meet and greet as well as basically everyone else in the crowd. I have no clue why I got so much attention from all 4 of the guys but I did. Meet and greet was wild. There was only 4 of us and I went first. Goodness those boys talked to me like we were old friends. Seriously, we talked about the most random stuff. My conversation with Daryl was all over the place. Everything from how we were both doing to footwear, how his wife knows who I am and would be happy to know I was there tonight to and of course about weed because why the hell not?! He just kept talking to me even when he was kind of supposed to be giving the other 3 people attention. He even asked me at least 10 times if I was okay and needed anything. It became a thing throughout the whole night where he would ask me or give me a thumbs up type of thing to see if I was okay. What makes me so special?! He kept giving me hugs as well. Craig and I talked about the first time we met and how he got down on his knees to take a picture with me because I’m so tiny and he’s so tall so of course, he did it again. I giggled. He gave me the biggest hug. Then of course because he’s my buddy, Chad made a joke about me ignoring him so I told him I would never and gave him a big hug too and told him I love him. For once I also got to have a real conversation with Rick as well. We talked about how long the drive from Sacramento to LA is because I’ve done it several times before (I’ve done it as a passenger but still.) We then talked about how hard it is to sleep in a moving vehicle (car, train, plane) and discovered neither one of us can ever sleep in them . Anyways, I figured okay, the attention is going to stop there. But it somehow didn’t. Not even a few minutes into the set he took my hand. At one point Craig blew me a kiss. Totally random. Chad definitely kept giving me that big, cheesy smile of his. Daryl also dedicated Nowhere Fast to me then took my hand and sang some of Beating Hearts Baby to me. At the end he tore off a setlist and handed it to me. I stuffed it in my bag and didn’t look at it until the next morning. I laughed so hard when I took it out of my bag the next day and realized how torn up it was. The whole night was a dream come true. I couldn’t even dream of a better night. Seriously, I couldn’t. But I do want to apologize to anyone who may have felt like I was intentionally hogging their attention that night because I swear I wasn’t. I have no earthly idea how I got to be so damn lucky but somehow I did. Someone pinch me because I still feel like I dreamt it.
