Do any of the Steph Carpenter models have low-friction volume pots installed into the stock guitar?

Maybe a silly question.

I've gotten too accustomed to the low-friction CTS pot I installed in my Jackson 7 string, freaking love it. Also, his guitar playthroughs show him cutting the volume with such a delicate swirl of the volume knob, so that was some hope I had.

I've seriously considered buying one of several different SC model guitars, and this is one kinda niche specification that I never see mentioned anywhere, ever. I've tried playing other guitars that had low friction pots without any mention in the descriptions anywhere, so I figured it was worth asking.

Are a set of 9s capable of Drop C?

I was at guitar center the other day and saw a beautiful ESP LTD MH1000 in the charcoal burst finish that I wanted to try, so I grabbed it and tuned it to Drop C (was already set up in C# standard and was still intonated just fine after tuning)

I also noticed the strings seemed really light for how well they handled this tuning and I asked the clerk what gauge strings they were. After a few seconds of feeling it up, he said 9s, which I didn’t quite believe but he was adamant.

They were light and easy to bend, but not too floppy or loose. Could it have been something along the lines of a 9-48 set, or was he just straight up wrong? I used to play with 11-54s on another 25.5 scale guitar yet the strings on this LTD feel much lighter
