Looking to go solar for the house for off grid living. Just wanna start small and scale up. So my highest month was 1407kwh and the lowest was 258kwh the average would be about 300~400kwh the 1407kwh month was because I was doing a lot of welding out of my garage. So I’m thinking move the house to off grid and the garage to local power until I can upscale. So what should the best course of action for batteries and inverter?

It’s been a few weeks and it’s going pretty well! I’ve added protection to the battery clamp to prevent arching out, added wire loom, added rubber grommets to protect the wire. I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback from the millwrights I work with.

got a mission to kill 4 tanks in one battle, I use the Hetzer or SU-100Y for these kinda missions but I seen this guy and was like yeah sure! I can upload the replay if anyone likes watching that kinda stuff.

Recently I’ve moved jobs to a millwright, I’m incredibly mechanically inclined and have already done a 5.9 Cummins swap in a GMC K30. Now that was a lot of work, but LS might be easier. I’m looking for reliably and fuel efficiency since I’m burning $50 a day in fuel. The trucks running a 305 TBI with a 4L60E I do mostly highway driving 2~4 hours a day 7 days a week. So my question is…. I know GM is great and all the motors bolt to their transmissions. So I can keep my newly rebuilt 4L60E, but what do I do for a controller? What about the LS? What computer system should I use?

I’m looking for fuel efficiency and reliability.
More power since I’m lugging around 1,000 lbs of tools
The 305 is a fucking dog and had a hard time doing 60…

we all hate the sky cancer i have became the sky cancer to better under stand it. I know with my sky cancer now hunt the sky cancer to remove the sky cancer from the map. also if any one has any arty and willing to do some 1v1 so i can get better at hunting arty that would be dope.

Currently a millwright but boss said I need to learn stick welding. I only know MIG not stick. This was today on 1/8 7018 rod at 100~120amps. Yeah I used rusty metal because that’s all they do is weld rusty stuff after I clean it….

I’m not new to owning a Gravely tractor, but I am new to walk behinds. This was my Grandfathers tractor he got new back in the day. I have a question about this black cap under the fuel tank. I know it hold a lubricant but why type and how do I tell if it’s full or low?! I’ve looked for fill plugs like on manual transmissions but didn’t see anything.
