The tanned knight and why it isn't such a big issue

My Arkham Knight Batman just came. I was hoping it wouldn't run into the same batch issues as everyone else, but guess I'm not that lucky. Maybe I'm just not that particular, but when I placed it with TBWL and under good lighting, I really can't tell that there was anything wrong with it.

My LPZZ Red Death is coming in a couple of days. Here's to hoping that there isn't any defect with that one!

Suggestions for a Sith/Dark Side display?

Currently have a Mafex Darth Vader and SHF Darth Maul. I want to add one more to the left of Darth Maul and shift Darth Vader more to the center.

I'm thinking between Black Series Lord Starkiller or SHF Kylo Ren (The Rise of Skywalker). Which would fit better?

Was LPZZ at ChinaJoy 2026?

I've seen plenty of coverage of ChinaJoy 2026, but I haven't seen anything from LPZZ.

INART didn't have much of a presence at SDCC, but that made sense since they had a major showing at ChinaJoy. With LPZZ though, I haven't heard a peep. Did they even have a booth this year?

If they didn't, what do you think that signals for the studio? It seems odd to skip China's biggest gaming and pop culture event.

Best Darth Vader + stroomtroopers figure for an original trilogy display?

I'm planning to pick up a Darth Vader action figure, and after doing some research, it seems like the general consensus is that the definitive version is either the SHF or Mafex Darth Vader (Kenobi version).

They both look fantastic, but my display is going for the classic Original Trilogy look rather than the battle damaged one. In that case, is it still worth getting one of the newer versions, or would one of the older SHF/Mafex releases be good enough?

Also, I'm thinking of pairing him with some Blokees Stormtroopers. Has anyone tried this? Do they scale well with SHF or Mafex Vader, or would Black Series Stormtroopers be a better fit? SHF/Mafex Stormtroopers seem a bit overkill for me, especially since I'm planning to get a few of them, and the cost adds up pretty quickly.

Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

My collection on Jul 2026

I started collecting in Mar this year. Started with prize figures and kuji stuff and now my most expensive one is the scale frieren by GSC, with a couple more POs on the way. I'm planning to get another shelf, maybe a detolf or something similar. I'm trying hard not to jump off the deep end, but seems like I'm failing hard at it. Hah

Also, it's been so hard to find the maximatic stark in my country. It's eating at me seeing the gang incomplete. 😭

How do people haul back their purchases from Japan?

I'm heading to Tokyo soon and I've budgeted some cash to buy figurines. Just wondering what's the best way to bring them back home. Do people pack it into their check in luggage? Or buy one of those 3 coins bag and carry on? If the volume is too big, do you arrange for a delivery?

Anyone tried their hand at building a DIY display shelf similar to Moducase?

I was looking at getting a moducase but I heard the wait time can get quite bad. Some people ended up waiting for almost 2 years for their orders to be fulfilled.

I chanced upon this vid: https://youtu.be/P\_DpPnGLswU?si=bDEFv4n4NHTM7mBf

And I wondered if anyone in SG actually tried their hand at this? Need some advice on buying the required materials and building it.
