Does anyone know if the alchemist enemies can drop their armor set? I was hoping to get it drop but I've had no luck

-if anyone can list armor sets for the DLC I'd appreciate it-

I'm... average at best with this game and I'm just wanting to play more in preparation for the dlc but after getting brutally abused earlier this year by NG+ in nioh 2 I'm wondering if I should stay in normal difficulty and wait for the dlc?

(Ps5 so no back up saves to my knowledge)

I started very recently (4 days) and I just hit level 278, but I haven't interacted with the artifact system nor the augment system much, is there anything I NEED to be equipping in these slots? Upgrading them seems to be very time consuming/expensive so I don't want to upgrade trash

Is there any way to play the missions in chronological order? Since hitting level 30 I've just been doing the alerts and raids randomly as they unlock (I'm level 183 now) and it's just a mismatch of random quests so I'm....confused at to what missions I'm supposed to do.
