Played again for the first time in years...

Y'all... i last played this game back near the release of the Valve Index.

I played super unserious for like 45 minutes here and there.

Tried again when mods came out and custom maps. Never really hit the spot.

Then i got my Steam Frame and started itching for that thrill again.

So i booted her up, committed to forcing myself past failure after failure.

I can genuinely say:

#1 my opinions have absolutely changed about this game. Im about to start glazing it to everyone i meet (Might make it my personality, lowkey).

#2 When you PLAY PLAY and actually push youself and get well designed maps with wide throws and good walls. It's a damn workout!

Thats about it. Just wanted to share my newfound love for the game 😁

This Ones a Doozy :(

Hello Folks!

I have the good ole Red Light of Death on a Valve Index Base Station :)

I saw a comment on a rather old thread regarding Valve Index base station repair. Specifically one for when the IR emitter goes out.

Now that they are discontinued and second hand sellers want $200+ i am definitely looking to get my hands dirty repairing mine.

Mine is spinning and working fine however the IR diode is no longer illuminating. They mentioned something regarding a tool that they made to focus the beam and some high level info about a 830nm diode.

Does anyone know what diode exactly goes into one of these things? Any tips and tricks for the repair?

Thanks!

Would you have sent it?

Doing Amazon relay and came across this during the PTI.

Does this count as "cracked" or just chipped? Interested to see what y'all think. Legal or illegal?

It was a 10 mile tow and 0 weigh stations in between so i obviously sent it, lol.
