sex usually jumpstarts my period… does that interfere with my true cycle?

I’ve been kind of agonizing over this, so last period (edit, in June) I had started a couple days early, the day after we had sex which is normal for me. But I noticed that the period was extremely light and not painful at all for the first two days which is *not* normal. Everything seemed shifted all wrong, my usual day 2 pain didn’t happen until day 3 or 4 after I started bleeding. I am used to just tracking my period at the first sight of blood, so that’s what I did even though the amount of blood that came out that day was nothing but a single smear on my pad.

Now my app is technically showing I’m like 3 days late for my period (I’m currently on day 27 of cycle… my cycle can fluctuate 23-26 days) and I’m trying to decide if I should test or not. I am trying to do everything I can to avoid wasting a test and a broken heart at seeing one line until I’m certain my period is late enough to reasonably suspect something. Seeing blood is somehow easier than a negative test for some reason.

So my question is can having sex actually jumpstart your cycle or just the blood? I know that sounds like such a dumb question but I can’t stop thinking about this so I need to make a post to get answers so I can quit wondering about it. I also noticed that my discharge was really thin and sticky a few days past what my app predicted was my ovulation day (ofc we BD that night just to be safe). So that’s why I’m just wondering if I just “opened the door” a little too early and the blood just started coming out even if it wasn’t ready to. Does that make sense??

Also, we have had sex a couple times this past week and it has *not* jump started my period, which is again unusual. So I’m just overthinking everything and “symptom searching” like crazy. Like where is this sudden chin acne coming from?? Among other little things that probably mean nothing 🥲 My boobs are really tender but that happens during PMS every month for me anyway so it‘s not a very good sign for me.

(No I’m not using strips or anything to track my ovulation. We haven’t been at this for very long but I do plan to start tracking that next cycle if this isn’t the one.)

suspicious behavior in abandoned checkouts, what should I do?

For months now I have had this customer with the same name constantly showing up in my abandoned checkouts tab. Every month there are multiple abandoned orders, all with the same name and address (some apartment in NYC), but ALL of them have declined cards ending in different numbers and all with different emails of the format johndoe12345@gmail .com (first name, last name, followed by 5 digits). Seems like bot behavior to me. I mostly sell stickers but I do have one digital product. They had been adding one cheap little $4 sticker to their cart but then started trying to buy my digital product which is like $2. I hadn’t been too bothered by it as it wasn’t affecting me in any way, just thought it was weird.

Well they just successfully bought my $2 digital product. It actually came in seconds before another (legit) order, also thought that was odd (I don’t get a ton of orders on my Shopify website, I do most of my business on Etsy) but I suppose it could be unrelated. But I’m a little weirded out now and afraid I‘m getting scammed somehow but if someone wanted to scam me wouldn’t they not go for the literal cheapest item on my entire website? I’m so confused. Should I cancel the order? Not sure how to go forward with this but I want to protect myself. Please help 🥲
