So, I’m travelling alone after a long time and managed to get a Side Lower, that too through Tatkal booking.

It’s the third compartment after the doors, so it’s actually a pretty decent seat. A few travellers came up to me and asked if I could exchange my seat with someone in the adjacent coach, as they were a family travelling together. The catch? Their seat was a regular Lower Berth, not a Side Lower.

I simply told them, “I paid an agent ₹1,000 extra for this Side Lower seat. If you reimburse me that amount, I’ll gladly shift.”

No one disturbed me after that! 😂

My wife has a Tanishq Jewellery Plan that is maturing next month (September), and the plan was opened in her name. However, she is currently in the last month of her pregnancy and will not be able to visit a Tanishq showroom herself.
