Whoever posted their centra loyalty app you deserve a big ol smooch

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago complaining about Centra's new app and loyalty scheme for chicken fillet roll. A beautiful person named Heather posted a screenshot of her barcode code for the app so people can use it for their rolls. I cannot find the original thread or Heather's username but if you see this, a thousand kisses xx

Engagement gift suggestions

Hi all!

My boyfriend, now fiancé ig lol, proposed to me and I'm looking to get him a gift too. He spent enough money on the ring and I want him to feel spoiled too.

I've had it in my head that I'm going to get him a hip flask. I know he'll use it bc he has one already that he loves, an older teeling whiskey one , it's Titanium with a glass panel so you can see how much is inside. He loves this one for nostalgic reasons, it's a good size and it's indestructible. My vision is buying a full titanium one and getting the day we got together and the day we got engaged engraved on it. In the future we can add the wedding date. Obviously if it can't be engraved in BC of material that's fine, I just want it to be high quality.

Why I'm coming here is because I just want some recommendations from people who have good hip flasks or know brands who do reliable ones, because outside of getting a random alcohol branded one or going for a more historical feel I'm just drawing a blank.

I'm also probably going to pair it with a bottle of whiskey if anyone has any recommendations. Something special that we can pull out at celebrations. Some of his favs include Blue/Green Spot, Bushmills (big soft spot for the causeway collection), Auchentoshan, Powers, Port or Sherry Casks that sorta vibe. We're irish, he's a bartender, so we like to try new things.

Price range is flexible, happy to drop between 100-150€ for a whiskey, I'll go above if it's really good. Tbh Hip I don't know the price range of hip flasks so we'll say 50-100€ ish.

Appreciate all your help and advice and thanks a lot <33!!

Heya lads,

Basically for my childcare course I have to do work experience. Been chasing my college for about 6 weeks to get an appointment to do Garda Vetting. Eventually I get the appointment and they submit everything, but when I go to fill out my form online it says it's incorrect.

I called the office in Thurles and they told me my birthday was incorrect (I know for a fact I didn't give the wrong day so I assume either the college or whoever typed it in wrong). The Thurles office tells me they can't help me and I need to call a number in Limerick, which has been engaged since 9am this morning so I assume they don't answer the phones. I contacted my college but they've been useless for every other situation so I assume it's out of their hands too.

I also sent an email and got an automated message saying they're out of office till May 11th. I can wait but I am aware of the wait time for the vetting so I just wanna get it over and done with.

Does anyone have any advice or another number I can call? Or will I just have to start the whole process again.

Thanks a lot!
