Pizza Code? 🍕

Anybody work at Dominos or know why these stairs exist? Not the Cashier and the window doesnt open or anything. Perhaps it was easiwr to just leave it? - Is it an observation platform or something? Is there a specific Building Code this Dominos is trying to meet or avoid?

it didnt make any sense to me!.. lol

Find a Manufacturer that looks at you like this

its easy to bash CEO types for this rhetoric but i can tell you from experience as an engineer for a compassionate empathetic manufacturer like this that these companies are rare but do exist. I hope the S&P500 starts to see the added financial results & creative work-life benefits of running a company who first encourages & provides resources for employees to learn to listen & show empathy towards eachother. I truly believe we are in a turning point for (essentially) Financial Capitalism to become Sustainable Capitalism (or whatever label) and finally see the earth’s limitations as non-infinite and thus pivot towards the next best profitable model which is taking care & utilizing your people’s full energy :)

Minimizing impact of Direct Daytime Sunlight on Gear Performance & Degradation during a Long Set?

from engineering standpoint are there any preventative measures?

how do you protect your gear when it has to be exposed to long periods of sunlight during a set?

Do you have dedicated throwaway gear for these occasions or do you take your nice equipment?

Does tuning become an issue from heat exposure? should you tune in sunlight (and/or @ operating temperature) before walking out on stage to maintain similar temperature change?

Any tips/experiences appreciated! 😎

is this Warning Label simply good Marketing/Design or could this also pass as good Human Factors Engineering?

Building Safety into a dangerous Lightsaber has never been cooler right? 😒😎
