What do you guys think about Obama’s decision to charge John Kiriakou with espionage, given the motivations behind it?

So John Kiriakou is the famous whistle blower who spoke out about the CIA’s presidentially approved torture program. Kiriakou has long maintained that he was charged in retaliation for blowing the whistle and that the charges were weak, only taking the deal out of fear of being falsely convicted by an intelligence-sympathetic jury.
