Been awhile since I posted what I've been working on so I thought I'd share. Just finished restoring this Millers Falls Boring Machine I picked up in a barn sale last fall. It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be and it's even more fun to use.

It basically had no paint left on it under all the rust except for a couple small spots in some of the internal corners.

Finding the solid walnut base under all that grime was a pleasant surprise.

Everything was disassembled, de-rusted, cleaned, and re-finished. All hardware was re-blued. The base was cleaned up and given a few fresh coats of BLO and satin poly.

Millers Falls Boring Machine - Completely restored and works perfectly.  Tight, smooth movement and 100% complete hardware.  The base looks to be a well done, user made replacement in solid walnut. Includes TWO sharpened bits with good snails: ~1" & 1-1/2".  

Shipping is the buyer's responsibility.  Pick-up is fine as well.  When I ship this, I will need to disassemble it partially to ensure safe travels, but will provide reassembly instructions or video call if needed.
