Ducting GE Geospring 80 gallon Heat pump water tank.

Ducting GE Geospring 80 gallon Heat pump water tank.

I just had my Geospring unit installed last week. One of the criteria for selecting this model was that it has the ability to be ducted as I was concerned about the cold air exhausting. I figured I would have it installed, and then see how cool the unit makes the space before deciding to duct. We use this basement space for hobbies which require a warmer temperature. Now, I would like duct the exhaust to an adjacent room. I'm looking at the ducting kit from GE, model number PH10VK. On GE's website to purchase the ducting kit, it says it "installs with as little as 7 inches of clearance"
We have almost 8 inches of clearance on the side where the exhaust is but the instructions say we need to connect a 10 inch duct. How on earth would a 10 inch duct connect to this exhaust in a 7 inch space? Am I missing something? It would not be a trivial to have my Installer come back and redo the plumbing connections in order to move it. I am hoping there is a way to do this without moving the unit. Does anyone have any experience or input?

Fence builder in Westchester county NY

Any recommendations for smaller company who has experience with custom horizontal cedar fences? I don't want a big company where I call and leave messages with secretaries and salesmen. I want a company where I speak to and work with the person who is actually building my fence :)
Thanks!

Photo is my inspo pic. Looking to have 115' of custom horizontal cedar fence installed. Found an installer who I like. He's super transparent with pricing, materials and technique. He typically uses 1x6 boards which have true dimension falling in the 5/8"-3/4" thickness. He said sourcing 5/4 boards locally is cost prohibitive but if I can locate materials at a price I'm happy with, he's happy to build the fence. So, I found 5/4x1x6 boards that price out to approximately $4/foot with delivery. The cedar alone will be $6500 all in. Working that into my builders quote, that's $3,500 more to have fence built with all 5/4 material instead of the thinner 5/8-3/4. To those with horizontal fence experience, is the extra thickness really worth it? Or is this a spec I can save on?
Appreciate any input!

Just had a shed base built yesterday. The land wasn't level so they used but backfill material after digging out the existing grass and dirt to level it. They did two layers of backfill material and used the big vibrating machine to pack it all down each layer. Then he put 4+ inches of gravel down. Is this type of gravel going to be OK? Most of it looks crushed, but there are some rounds in there. This final gravel layer was also packed down with the machine and feels mostly solid when I walk on it unless I intentionally kick my foot into it. A 12 x 20 shed will be sitting on this. Any thoughts?
