First print (by a very non-artistic dude!)

I've long been interested in linoprinting and typesetting, probably as a result of many trips to Colonial Williamsburg as a kid, where I could watch the printers all day.

I finally decided to do something about it, and picked up a beginner Speedball kit. For my first pattern, I made this. "Camp David" is my informal nickname for my weekend home in the Catskills. It's far from good, but I made it and it makes me smile.

Independent mechanic near NYC?

I’m looking for any recommendations for an independent Porsche mechanic near NYC. My 2019 turbo is out of warranty, and I’m looking to get the coolant pump replaced. I have a dealer quote that is…quite expensive. When the car was under warranty I did all my service at the dealer. But I’d love to find an independent mechanic for this.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

I've been wearing my Ahoi for 3 days straight this week (I usually tend to swap watches daily), and really enjoying it. Especially on this strap (from RSM Straps).

The watch arrived on a navy blue 2-piece nylon strap; while that strap is definitely a high-quality piece, the color combo left me a bit uninspired. I took a flyer on this "Pine Khaki" color and I like the way it contrasts with the sky blue dial. The Ahoi is such a versatile watch!

Hi folks, I’m considering an EX90, and just as I was about to pull the trigger, a last minute concern arose about key cards.

I park in a garage under my building where the attendant has to park the car, and then they lock the key in an electronic lockbox near each row of cars. (For insurance reasons customers cannot enter the actual car storage area; this is common in NYC).

I’ve seen posts here about the key card battery needing frequent charges. How big a concern is that really? If the car were to sit for 3 weeks, would the card lose power? Is there really no NFC option (which requires no battery)?

Thanks in advance.
