Hi,

Myself and two old mates I haven't seen in a while have just booked an air bnb for next weekend in the middle of Hastings.

Location was based on it being equidistant from each of our homes, and we've all heard Hastings is a nice town to visit, especially as we're all history graduates.

Can anyone recommend some good pubs for a meal and few pints each evening? We're all 40 years old so not up for wild partying.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am very interested in archaeology and linguistics, but I'm by no means a professional or expert in either discipline. So I was hoping somebody with more knowledge could explain to me why this fascinating artifact does not have a single peer reviewed paper or study to its name. All I can find is puff pieces on popular science and archaeology websites. This object was found decades ago and it's apparently still under "conservation?"

Am I just being impatient?

Is there more to the story?

Any light shed on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
