Any ideas on what kind of carp this is?
I initially thought it was a silvery crucian, but could be a hybrid perhaps?

I'm thinking of getting day tickets for myself and two friends in August, but it would be great to hear if anyone has any insights before I book.
I went to a stall at a summer fair where they were doing quick fly tying tutorials and I absolutely loved it. I made this one with a lot of help, but he did say I had a knack for it (which must be 100% true of course). I would have been really keen to join that club but they are based too far away. I haven't read the wiki of this sub yet, but can this be a reasonably cheap hobby to get into? I don't have much money or space at home so I have to bear those things in mind. I also haven't been fly fishing yet, but will hopefully be doing some in the summer. I do quite a bit of coarse fishing.
I'd like to try a bit of sea fishing anywhere from Southampton up to Chesil Beach this Sunday. It would be during the day, from reasonably early morning to early afternoon. My preference would be to use my spinning rod with soft lures, but I get it if that doesn't work best. I have the option to borrow my friend's beach fishing rod with mackerel feathers too.
I would like to avoid lots of walking, so somewhere close to parking would be ideal.
Is there any "must have" kit that I would need?
And are there any restrictions that I need to observe?
I am really not fussy about what I catch.
Any thoughts would be very appreciated.
