I’ve noticed this behaviour from his fanbase who usually think he’s the second coming of Osho. Vir Das writes jokes to garner applauses, not laughs and that’s my biggest problem with him. Him trying to philosophise his comedy to appear more cultured and sophisticated, so that people can remark ‘Damn Vir, you’re so intelligent, you’re more than just a comedian’ is exactly what makes him unfunny. Watching his stand up feels more like a Ted Talk sprinkled with lines that have only managed to make me occasionally chuckle. And no, it’s not because ‘iT’S toO deEp fOr mE’ when his entire schtick is just pedestrian hot takes on the most trending topics. Like dude, I don’t care if your entire act is a story, or long jokes with misdirection, or one liner after one liners. Just be funny. I didn’t sign up for a sociology lecture.

Seems like she has shot for an episode. Saw a paparazzi reel of her posing for photographs outside of the Habitat (most probably) ‘cause her security detail/ assistant was carrying the gift parcel that Samay is giving to all his invited celeb guests (non comedians) this season. It also had the same photo frame with Samay’s autograph on it, the one that he had given to Alia and Sharvari.

Did anyone watch the BTS video? Man, Sharvari knows ball. I'd gladly have her back on the panel another time.

I liked it. It wasn't peak but it was really good. The Donald Trump guy and the bonus section at the end were the best parts of the show. I really enjoyed the drunk guy's performance as well.

Sharvari was really funny, and that last wordplay joke was witty af. Ashish had his moments as well, especially with the ganja joke. Alia was really sweet to people. Big deal, that she didn't try to show her sense of humour. I completely understand, given Reddit literally looks at her with a microscope. Kuch bhi uthake gaali dete rehte hai usko, so her playing it safe is the best decision. Plus their film's also releasing so it's obvious that she doesn't want to risk anything.

Unfiltered dekhna hai toh Internet pe 'pehle jitna maza nahi aaya' ka randirona na karke live show attend karne jao. Cause agar uski dobara gaand lagi, toh tum logon mai se koi uska legal fees nahi bharega.

Now as for valid criticism: poor editing and sound design issues. Could have integrated a song either before or after the show like his special. He has good taste in music so interested people might get to listen to something that they haven't heard before. Kinda like his special, although Seedhe Maut is comparatively mainstream now.
