New territory for me here. My son is waiting for last step of paperwork after being awarded SSDI. His father passed away 1 month ago and was on SSDI, most likely with a payment larger than my sons will be. Can my son apply for his father’s benefit (in place of his own) once my son’s case has been fully established?
There is a request form on TJ’s website to show your support if you think it would work.
Has anyone been or used this SSA office recently? I went to make an appointment, and it is off of the online list; called and it didn’t come up for the agent either?
