A Letter To The Boy Everyone Was So Quick To Forget. I hope you read it abhay ❤️

I am not upset that new stars are rising. Cricket should always have new heroes. What hurts is how quickly people forgot Abhishek Sharma.

A few months ago he was the future of Indian T20 cricket. The No.1 T20I batter in the world. The owner of India's highest individual T20I score. The face of fearless, attacking cricket. Everyone wanted him in every poster, every teaser, every campaign. Every fanpage, every edit account, every cricket discussion was talking about him.

Then one difficult phase arrived.

A rough World Cup. A few ducks. A dip in form.

And suddenly the narrative changed.

The same people who were calling him the future started calling him a slogger. The same people who celebrated every six started questioning whether he belonged. One bad tournament somehow became bigger than everything he had achieved before it.

Criticize performances. Absolutely. Every player should be criticized when they fail.

But why does one difficult phase erase years of contribution?

And honestly, sometimes I feel people love Abhishek Sharma the personality more than they respect Abhishek Sharma the cricketer.

They love the smiles.

They love the chaos.

They love the funny interviews.

They love the edits.

They love the good-looking poster-boy image.

But when do people talk about the responsibility he has carried?

For years he has been one of the faces of SRH. He stayed through rebuilding phases, difficult seasons and successful ones. When the team needed explosive starts, he delivered. When they needed belief, he showed up. He gave everything to the franchise and became one of the biggest reasons behind its identity in the modern era.

Yet whenever leadership conversations happen, it feels like his name is treated differently.

Sometimes it feels like people see him as the cheerful locker-room guy, the happy-go-lucky starboy, rather than the senior player standing right in front of them.

The same feeling exists with India too.

People discuss leadership, future captains, vice-captains and long-term plans. Yet despite everything he has achieved, despite being one of India's most impactful T20 batters, his name rarely enters those conversations with the same seriousness.

Maybe there are reasons behind every decision that fans don't know. Maybe the management sees things differently.

But as a fan, it is hard not to feel that he is often appreciated for the entertainment he provides rather than respected for the cricketer he has become.

Because behind the smiles, edits, interviews and viral clips is a player who worked his way to the top of world cricket.

A player who became the No.1 T20I batter in the world.

A player who owns one of the greatest T20 innings by an Indian.

A player who has carried expectations for both franchise and country.

A player who deserves to be remembered for more than a few bad matches.

Maybe he won't always be the headline.

Maybe he won't always be the favourite.

But the loudest cheers often disappear the fastest.

And that is what hurts the most.

Not that new stars are rising.

But that people were so quick to forget one of their own.

And finally, thank you.

Thank you for every fearless innings, every impossible shot, every celebration, every smile, every interview that made us laugh, and every moment that gave us something to look forward to.

Thank you for representing your team, your state, and your country with pride. Thank you for giving fans memories that will stay long after scorecards are forgotten.

Cricket can be cruel. One day you're everyone's favorite, and the next day people move on to the next big thing. But there are still people who remember the journey, not just the results.

No matter what phase you're going through, please know that there are fans who support you beyond runs, rankings, records, trophies, or headlines. Fans who celebrate the person as much as the player.

So wherever the road goes from here, thank you for everything so far.

The crowd may be quieter now, but some of us never left. 🤍

Yours,

Prapti 💕

Nehal wadhera and Kashmira pardeshi

I mean Idk anything but am I the only one who thinks Nehal and Kashmira are kinda dating or something? Like am i the only one noticing this or are we all silently clocking it 😭

so i randomly noticed that kashmira follows nehal on insta BUT not just him… his sister Rhythm and his cousin Nishchay follow her too and she follows both of them back 👀

and it’s not even just “mutual follow” vibes because they’ve liked eo’s posts and Kashmira has commented on his sister’s posts too from what i saw

ALSO in that creator interview recently when he was asked if he’s single he literally went “no comments” 😭 and when someone asked what he’s watching these days he mentioned “The Glory” which idk why felt oddly specific lmao

like i’m not saying anything is confirmed before y’all jump me 😭 i’m literally just connecting pixels and running on vibes but does anyone else feel like there might be something there or am i deeping insta activity too much

because family mutuals is what got me side-eyeing this whole thing 👁️
