Food in Bars

Pardon my ignorance but, how common is it for bars in Tokyo or Osaka to give a small plate of appetizer type snacks if you order drinks? I don’t want to offend anyone but I really don’t want to eat a non vegan snack however well intentioned the proprietor may be. I’m probably over thinking it but is this at a possibility? Has anyone encountered this and figured out a polite way to decline?

Edit: I’ve got hundreds of full vegan places saved in Google Maps but, always open to suggestions. However, it is fun to be spontaneous sometimes and pop into an interesting looking place for a drink. Also for most of the trip we’re not with any non vegans.

Edit 2: I’m not worried about having to pay for it, as some have suggested. I’m worried about offending for not eating it.

Picked Up an OM-1 Today

Got a great deal on an OM-1 today. It has an attachment to connect to an endoscope. Pretty neat. It had a roll in too. I gave it to the seller in case their father (retired Dr) wanted it. It was tungsten film. Probably just photos peoples innards.

Didn’t Win With Highest Bid

I’m a little confused and maybe some of you more seasoned buyee users can help me out here.

Last night I placed a sniper bid on an item. Item started out at 100 Yen and by last night was up to about 25,000 Yen. The item had no buyout price.

With about seven hours to go I placed my sniper bid of 50,888. I wake up this morning and I have not won but the winning bid was 50,000.

What could have happened? Seller on original platform doesn’t accept proxy bidders perhaps?

What am I missing?

Thanks for any help.

Edit: For those saying it takes awhile. It was ten hours ago. I received a confirmation email for the bid but the bid doesn’t show up in my won or my not won lists. I think there must’ve been an error or not accepted/deleted by seller. I’ve only won about ten auctions prior to this.
