a simple Yukino edit I made back in November

i don't really consider this a full edit since my usual stuff is way more complex, but on that day I just really felt like making this set. i do really love this character and the novel

i actually posted this on tiktok back then, and it got surprisingly popular (almost 6k likes and still growing), so some of you might have already stumbled upon it there (@sircendre on tt if you want to repost or smth)

there's also nothing on the page because i have been a little apathetic about stuff i put out before

g6 anthem is just better

i love vanilla festival , but unmusique self produced songs just go harder . ignorant tout naturel oujia and 2010jb are fye tho . there weren't any sisterhood songs , which made the choices easier

beginner prod advice pt. 2

it’s been over a week since i posted my first beat here. here’s another one: lucy bedroque x jane remover type beat

you could say this is pretty much my second beat, if you don't count my (unsuccessful) attempts at remaking some of lucy's song (ERASE YOUR SOCIAL, IDK)

decided to make something of my own today

also, i didn't use a loop. i consolidated the melody for some tricks with effects

IDK type beat

im trying to make something similar to Lucy's last sc song

i got the drums and the structure overall, but i can't figure out the melody because it's nonexistent (? the bass and vocals just overshadow it, i think) except the ending where they add the counter pluck that plays every tact and there is quiet wiggly-wobbly thing .. i can't describe it .. it's actually always there, but i can't even find a similar sound

also i think the song fits to the jerk label but on genius it's just rage

need some critique for beginner producer (inspired by unmusique)

hey guys. this is my first ever beat

i literally started learning a couple of days ago, so i'm completely new to this

Lucy Bedroque is one of my favorite artists out there. i'm a really big fan of his recent #c stuff, and i'm probably going to shift that way

i'm posting this here because it's heavily inspired by them, and i'd love to get some advice. since i don't know anything about mixing yet, i just leveled everything purely by ear. maybe the drums are too loud?

dancing with your eyes closed is such an underappreciated song

it's probably sounds weird that the most popular track of her discography is underappreciated. it blew up on tiktok, but it's the worst kind of popularity

i could be just dramatic, but im so sick of seeing those tiktok edits (bp editors, im talking about you) using the ultra slowed/intro loop version of the track. the whole trend around dwyec is built on the first section of the song. YouTube and SoundCloud are flooded with these versions, where it's just the intro playing on repeat, and it's slowed to an absurd degree. do people actually enjoy listening to that? on tiktok, i've seen people complaining about Jane's vocals, saying that the song is noise pollution, which is complete bs .. tho, it's mostly just casual listeners, but i rarely see actual jane fans mention dwyec as their all-time favorite

i'm not going to explain why this song is so great. you guys already know how much thought was put into this song. dancing with your eyes closed deserves its popularity, i just wish the rest of the song got the love it deserves (especially the bridge .. the beat switch is amazing, and the writing is so gorgeous)

all of this is probably meaningless, and i could be just wrong
