Saw a random guy harassing my daughter at exam centre
I reached the exam centre early, standing there like every other dad pretending not to be anxious but secretly scanning every guy within a 50 meter radius.
Then I spot him. One guy. Standing weirdly still. Not talking to anyone. Just… existing aggressively. Immediate red flag. My brain goes “yep, that’s the creep.”
A few minutes later my daughter walks out and the first thing I notice is she looks RELIEVED seeing me. Like she just escaped something.
She gets in the car and casually goes, “There was this really creepy guy inside.”
And I’m like… of course there was. I already mentally arrested him 10 minutes ago. Father instincts undefeated.
I’m feeling like a hero at this point, so I decide to take her to a nearby café. Thought I’d be the cool dad. Bad decision.
I go to order coffee. Takes barely a minute. I turn around…
And there she is. MY daughter. Making out with some random dude who looks like he has never seen sunlight or shampoo.
I just freeze. Processing. Buffering. Life choices flashing before my eyes.
Like beta… I just saved you from one creep and you speedran finding another one??
At this point I’m not even angry. I’m just impressed by the efficiency.
I quietly take the coffee, sit down, and stare into the void.
Moral of the story: I can protect her from the world… but not from her taste in men
