MDW bachelorette recommendations

I'm hosting my sisters bachelorette in Asbury next Saturday before memorial day. I dont go out much so I know theres tons of options for bars to go to but having trouble deciding which one will be the best bet. My sister likes live music and dancing and definitely would prefer some place not too packed (I know probably difficult to come by on MDW). Doesn't have to be in asbury either we could drive to red bank or point pleasant or belmar too.

Also any daytime activity suggestions if theres any craft fairs or any events going on nearby that weekend you think would be good to hit up!

I can't stop thinking about this ring from Kay. It was only the second place we went to look and I was never considering getting something from there. I also didnt think I like marquise because theyre trendy right now and didnt want a halo but something about this combination I just didnt want to take it off. Always thought Id get something custom designed more like the oval pictured but now I cant stop thinking about this marquise. Should we go back for it?

Hi all! My boyfriend (M25) and I (F26) just recently started ring shopping. Not looking to get engaged right away but I do want there to be an element of surprise so now that we're serious about it and have been living together decided to figure out what it is i want so he will know what to buy/where to buy from when the time comes.

We started out going to the big chain stores to look like Kay and Jared, partially because its less intimidating and I feel like there would be less pressure to actually buy something right then and there at a big place like that. Then after we had some experience and I saw the basic stuff I wanted to go to some local places to see some more unique settings and shapes that the box stores dont carry. Well while nobody was rude to us, I just left feeling like the local jewelers didnt care as much as the consultants at the box stores. Im not sure if its because we're young and potentially look younger than we are or if its because I just wear yoga pants and a plain shirt and my boyfriend wears Adidas joggers everywhere lol but I felt like they didnt really take us seriously at the local stores. Now my boyfriend and I are also quiet, shy people so I'm not gonna walk in and be besties with the sales associate right away. But like I told her I was interested in elongated cushions and I hadn't been able to see one yet and she said they had loose diamonds that are elongated cushions but nothing in a setting on display. Which is understandable but I dont understand why she didnt offer to show me the shape that I like and asked for because I know from seeing other people's videos and pictures that they will do that.

Also notably we did go to one other small jeweler and when we walked in asked to see the engagement rings they showed us which case and then literally walked away so we left without even trying anything on at that one.

Anyways I'm an anxious girlie so I know I might just be overthinking but I'm a bit upset because I always wanted to get my ring from a local jeweler and now im feeling like maybe its just easier to go with the nice friendly people at the chain stores. Anybody have any similar experiences or advice to share?
