In loving memory of my sweet Skye
I so wish I had turned to Reddit 2 years ago when he passed, but I didn't know there was a community here to help me mourn. I had this perfect boy for 17 wonderful years, until he passed away in my arms because of pancreatic cancer. He was my soul cat. He sat by me when I cried, chattered at me in the morning, protected me from bugs and snuggled close every night. He kept me going through some deep bouts of depression. He was always happy to see me. He was the softest, sweetest Meep to ever exist and I miss him every day. Hug your babies for me.
Everyone tell Annie Happy Gotcha Day!
Sweet baby noodle. I adopted you two years ago while I was still grieving the big brother you never got to meet. I tried to hold off on giving you my whole heart immediately, but you would not be denied. I love you, Bananalynn 💗💗💗
Millennials, what was your first career aspiration and why?
💙 When I was 4 (1986), I wanted to be the Blue Fairy in the Electrical Lights Parade at Disneyland. She was so beautiful and tall! Most importantly, she could grant people's wishes. 💙 What was your dream job?
Edited to add an update - Well, I've learned that 1, most of us were dreaming of being marine biologists, archeologists, paleontologists, doctors, vets, and/or artists, not to mention at least three people who wanted to be Vanna White. 2, A lot of us became teachers. And 3, very few of us enjoyed or excelled at math 😁 Whatever you wound up doing, I hope your lives contain people you care about and who care about you, fluffy/fuzzy/feathered or other textured-buddies, and joy.
My little torbie trash panda...
Annie was found under a Taco Bell dumpster. Now she's a sassy pampered princess 🥰🥰🥰
So I think she is the most beautiful torbie girl ever. Do you agree?
The wonderful Lady Banannie.
Beth and horses
So I know Beth getting over her fear of riding was a plot point in Yellowstone, but it seems extreme to me that she'd go from "fuck horses" to "let's ride everywhere." Feel odd to anyone else?
