Guys, I'm having a real hard time deciding which to invest in, Beneos' Cos module for Foundry, or DMAndy's premade maps. I've been running a CoS campaign for the past couple of months, after taking some time off from DM as my group's perma-DM. I chose CoS because it was a popular campaign that I had always wanted to run, but I also thought there would be the added bonus of tons of premade assets, to ease the burden of my prep time.

It's been great, I started out with Clay Golem's module on Foundry and it has been excellent. They use Aonbarr Cartography's maps fully loaded with walls and lighting other great QOL things. They have a ton of the monster from CoS Reloaded made up with Sheets. I cannot recommend it enough.

But I want more, and for easier!!! I just don't love the way the maps are laid out, and they require me to do quite a bit of legwork to get it to the point where I'm happy with it.

So now I'm looking at deciding between Beneos' premade modules, or DMAndy's premade maps.

I actually subscribed to Beneos' patreon and tried out his maps, I was so in love with all the possibilities. They are incredible, fully built out 3d environments!. I love the amount of detail and ease of use that they could potentially afford me! BUT! I find them a little flat in colour, and not interesting. For the right DM who wants that dark, hopeless and grim feeling, these would perfect. But that's not me, I'm more of a classical fantasy dude!

So now I'm interested in DMAndy's maps. I really like the looks of all those maps, and I see that they all use the Levels module (which is now baked in) which I also like. There's just something about the use of Level's and being able to see characters below and above you with appropriate terrain for the elevation that I find awesome, and I want in my game! BUT! I can't frigging demo any of DMAndy's maps without subscribing on his Patreon! Beneos managed to hook me with a few free to try maps, but DMAndy has none that I can find! I can't justify subscribing to his Patreon without at least seeing one of his maps and deciding if it's what I'm looking for.

I've been trying to decide what to do for days now, and I'm just looking for some people experiences and reviews.

TLDR : Really like Beneos' maps but find them bland. Really like DMAndy's but need to know that he uses Level's in his maps, and they are premade with good walls and lighting. Which to buy?

My computer has started to randomly kick me back to the login screen out of nowhere. Once it does it once, it will generally repeatedly kick me back, immediately after putting in my pin, over and over again for several tries.

I've checked my power settings, and set it all to never sleep. Besides which, it isn't going to sleep, it's just logging me out of login. I just can't figure out why!
