Normal day at DW?

We've been here 2 hours and every ride we have been in line for has gone down for an undetermined amount of time. Lightning Rod is down. Is the rest of the day a wash?!

Actually created a pin board!

After getting back from WDW last week where I took a chance on some ducks, I decided to get out the pins I had that were just in a bag in my closet or at the bottom of a Loungefly. I know there are a few fakes here but most of them are ones I purchased myself in the parks over the past several years. Can't wait to add a few more when I go back this fall (and hopefully will find the Daisy Duck duck pin!!!!)

Random finds...

Just found these in the bottom of a Loungefly bag. I'm not into pins but probably got these off a pin trading board when my kids were younger. Fakes? I love Bambi and Merida regardless!

23-25/52: Worry Doll, The Sun Was Electric Light, & Nymph

Three books over the past several days for some summer reading that took me to Australia, Central America, and Italy! Of the three, Sun Was Electric Light was my definite favorite, some great themes of friendship, grief, and self-discovery that really resonated with me. Both of the other books I did not really care for. Worry Doll went straight to the donate box, and Nymph had a lot of promise for a first novel but I felt like a lot of questions are left unexplored. All three were right at 200 pages so were pretty quick reads.

Happy Fathers Day!

I was estranged from my father, and was his only child. He passed away 2 years ago and I had to deal with the funeral and estate, etc. Literally today I got the tiniest package with US Army as the return address. His service medals were inside. I have no idea what happened to the originals but this was quite the Father's Day surprise.
