My first bike! 🏍️
Suzuki Sv650s. Went and picked it up three days ago during the sale this was the view it was such a scene, since then I’ve took two rides. Bear in mind I have no idea how to ride a bike my first time that I get on I also have no one with me, my friend couldn’t make it.
Soooooooo, stalled about 17 times. Eventually got a little 10mph run even switched up to 2nd and third (with no throttle at all!!!) and she felt like she wanted to launch into first gear I felt the feeling of falling etc. Dude. I was scared shitless. Said I wasn’t going to get back on until someone was with me, it was the whole first gear torque issue that really spooked me. How jumpy she felt.
Went out again to practice today. I’m pleased to report after a few friction zone videos I took off three times, stalled once, shifted into second gear while rolling at 12mph in first got up to 25mph and gave it a little throttle in second!!! She and I are finally getting on the same page. Someone said the bike felt punchy and pokey when taking off, totally agree but someone also said Suzuki intentionally “made the bike a little unstable just like a woman named Tiffany unstable but a lot of fun”
If you have any tips or any mentalities to adopt or dispel I’d love to hear it. I’m still deciding on a name.
