This might seem like a bit of a petty post but at my high school (I'm Grade 12) there is a playground, which we're all a bit old for but we use it anyway. There is a structure where you have to swing across grips on a chain. It is impossible, I've never seen anyone do it. I speak as someone who has spend 4 years trying to complete it. Then we figured out if you could climb up on top and hold onto a metal bar it's WAY easier in all of those tag games.

I climbed up and used that way, and a teacher (let's call him Mr Clark) called me over. Mr Clark is usually very strict and he said 'you have to now stay there and tell any person that tries to use that trick that they shouldn't do it for the whole of lunch!' i was so bored but my friends kept me company.

Then one of my friends (let's call her Emma) walks along the chain. I am right next to her yelling at her to stop but she just said 'i don't care, i don't care' Mr Clark calls her over, and I'm hoping to be relieved of my position, but according to Emma, he asked 'Did she try to stop you?' and Emma lied and said no. Then he said 'That girl over there will get a detention if she is ever in the same area as anyone using that chain ever again'. And then when I told Emma that wasn't cool she just said 'it was your own fault, stop playing the victim' Only posting since I am usually in teachers' good books so this really annoyed me. So, AITAH here?
